Did you know tree rings of trees in the west that go back 8000-10000 years show droughts of 200 years are common in that area? It would be very normal if lake mead dried up for 50 years. Your problem is none of those things have happened! Just one example.Scored 65%. Thought I knew more about climate change. Need to put more time in my studies. My take on this is pretty simple. The atmosphere is a heat engine. Add more heat (=energy) to that engine the processes that that engine can perform are going to have more energy available. So expect to see record high temperatures, record winter snow storms, stronger wind storms (hurricanes, tornados), faster melting ice, permafrost melting, faster rising sea levels, etc. The debate is over. Anthropogenic CO2 is causing this increase in available heat energy that drives atmospheric processes.

You don't know...no one does...HSIt will, just a few more years.
Fished Devils Lake in ND a few years ago. It's a lake that seems to just keep growing...often cited as a sign of climate change I guess. Then I heard that people have found fish fossils 25 miles from the existing lake boundary (meaning we've been there before)...Did you know tree rings of trees in the west that go back 8000-10000 years show droughts of 200 years are common in that area? The inference was that lake Meade level going down is proof of man caused global warm. It's not! HSThere's nothing normal about lake Mead... its a reservoir.
