Massey 4707 purchasing review by another member. Very thorough. This might be a cash purchase, no mention of financing rates?

Thanks for sharing. That is actually my post. Here are the current finance options:

Kubota- has 0% for84 months with 20% down, 0% for 72 with 10% down

Case/New Holland has 0%for 60 and 1.49% for 84 months

John Deere has 0%for 60 months

Massey has 0% for 84, but you lose about $7k in discounts, so it's not really a good move. Massey did significantly lower their price to offset the interest expenses.

Hope this helps

Dave

That stupid cash price vs finance price is exactly what kept me from buying a MF. That and all the dealers were quoting me a higher finance price for a 2607H than the JD 5075E I ended up buying and the 2607H has no power shuttle, no ePTO, no 540E, no hand throttle on the fender, no tilt steering, much lower ratings on the FEL and 3ph, not even a cup holder all which tractors like the 5075E or M7060 have. (When optioned) I was quoted less for both a M7060 and a 5075E with the 12x12 powershuttles than any MF dealer would quote me for the 2607H. The 2607H does come standard with 2 rear remotes and no DPF is awesome and IMO the best selling point for the tractor. Other benefits for the 2607H is more weight (even though the 5075E is pretty close) and the 0% for 84 months instead of 60 months when putting no money down. If you have the cash to pluck down at one get go they're priced great.

I will say the 4707 is probably a better choice for not too much extra. I do think the 2600 series tractors are some very nice looking machines though. Best looking tractor in its class IMO. Kind of old-school with a modern touch I guess.

The 4700 series are really something to see and operate. Their quality is second to none and emissions system is awesome. The 2600 series is not even close in features, though a solid machine.

That's a terrific looking machine. I've got a Koiti RX7320 which comes in a bit less $$ but if I'd read the reviews/knew more about the actual selling price of this machine new I would have had it on my short list for sure.

Hope you get many, many trouble free years of service out of that gal.

Congrats.

Thanks Very much and wishing you the same. I looked at the 73x also. Nice, maneuverable machine. I really wanted a buddy seat for the grandson thought. In my area, with a 3rd function remote, 2 rear remotes, self leveling loader, the 73x was about $42500. The Massey was $44500. Massey dealer is much better around here.

You're in PA correct? What part?

I've got about 100 hours on my Kioti. It's done everything asked of it including pull a set of 12' transport discs without any complaints. My only gripes about the machine are the lack of buddy seat and it's noisier than I'd like. I think the 4707 bests it in both those categories.

I'm on the other end, near Erie. There's a MF dealer within an hour but they are not prevalent in this area.
