Yeah,Yeah I know this is a tractor forum and no world politics allowed- but I think both Kim Jung Un and Ahmadinejad could use a little taste of reality. Maybe a photo of the little round hole in the side of Ghaddafi's head (put there by his own people) would help.

Re N. Korea, reminds me of the "What if they held a war and nobody came?" bumper sticker. We should just ignore them, If they actually initiate force to get our attention, we've proven we can respond with overwhelming force but not invade (my recommendation). Just ignore them.

Nice thought. But it wouldn't work. If the US does nothing, the world will cry " where is the Americans" and they go they'll be the devil all over again. One of those damned if you do, damned if you don't situations.

This is another of the countries divided by WWII. Let them work it out, USA should lead by letting the UN handle the issue...they will likely do little, and that is fine with me. If N Korea makes a significantly large violent act actually killing Americans in large numbers, THEN we respond. We should have had enough, by now, of the argument that saber rattlin' bad guys might do something so WE gotta spend money we don't have and take violent action first. They have even less funds than we do, and they know it.

It's the same song and dance they (N. Korea) do every time their food supply gets low. Threats and wild gestures till they get more food and their leadership looks good for getting what it wants and backs down the rest of the world.

Putting it in perspective......

We don't have it too bad if our biggest worry is tractor parts. It must be unsettling to be a South Korean target of those threats, wondering if your family will be OK.
