Glennmac,
I am located in northeastern Connecticut and in the market for a new tractor. I have been reading posts in this forum for several weeks and I must say that I that I have found it to be quite helpful. The only problem I have encountered is that I have been unable to get prices anywhere near what i'm reading here. I'm getting prices in CT of $13,800 & $13,900 for a B7500 HST with 302 FEL. In western Mass I have gotten prices of $13,500 and I also got a price of $13,500 in Southern NH. I'm also finding that they are asking for full list price at that point for a deck and snowplow. You stated in a post that a 12% off list was capable in this area. Could you tell me what dealers in this area will do that?

thanks,
Mike

Mike,

Call Robert Wolff at the Woodbury Tractor Co. (203-266-4845). Tell him you are a TBN member and that I referred you. He's usually pretty competitive.

Mike,

For comparison, I was quoted $15,000 by a Western Mass. dealer in November 2000, for the B7500 HST w/turfs, LA302, and 54" mid-mount mower.

I just bought a bx2200 from a guy named Bob Wolf from Woodbury Tractor. He's in CT and he delivered mine to Ipswich MA. He was a real pleasure to work with and his pricing on the tractor and accessories were spot on. Super easy to work with comes highly recomended. You can call him at 203-266-4845

I also purchased a tractorfrom Rob Wolff - he beat every CT dealer. I went to a dealer in CT and he quoted me over $1,000 more than Rob and told me I wouldn't find the tractor for less (or more) in CT. I think there is some price-fixing going on in CT, with the exception of Rob.

Hi Mike. I am about to take delivery of a B7500HSD with 302FEL and folding ROPS from a dealer in Wrentham Ma. His over the phone quote was $13,200. Good luck.

John

I'm in Columbia county, NY near the Mass border. Is there someone in my area that you would recommend who is competitive?
