I have an old Mitsubishi MT205 gray market tractor. It does not have remotes, but it does have lines that power a 3 point tilt piston. I never use the 3 point tilt, but I do have a flail mower with a hydraulic offset that might be nice to use. Would this be as simple as disconnecting the lines to the piston and putting an adapter on them or is there more to it?

Although I know nothing about hydraulics, I think I have answered my own question. Looks like the existing lines are 3/8 male threaded and I can find adapters to put quick connects on the end of those. So, really I have all the right stuff, it just isn't laid out like it would be on a more modern tractor. I might want to replace the existing with shorter hoses, but I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't work.

They might be metric threads

Good point! Probably are in fact.

You may want to put quick attach with dust covers on the tilt function for later use
