Yep. We had them nest under our back porch roof right outside of the door we use the most to enter/exit the house. Ferocious little beasts!

For as close to our heads they got, they never hit us.

We used to have a couple nests in the packing barn.
They would paste their nests to the ceiling joists.
They'd fly in to their nests completely unbothered by al the activity below.
Few times we had to move the packing tables a few feet.
The little ones would stick their bums out over the edge and poop down.
Ma and Pa were very defensive of our little seasonal squatters.
They considered them good luck.

I enjoy mowing the field. It always attracts some and they buzz around the tractor for the bounty of bugs stirred up.
I swear they pick them off the front grill on the fly.
Much nicer than the Sea Gulls when I'm cultivating.
No joy in getting sh_t on while doing tractor work.

It's definitely one of the more difficult birds to photograph in flight.

I call this one "Target Acquired."
Spoiler: The bug didn't make it.

Yeah, if you watch me trying to get one in flight, you might think I'm having a seizure.
