For just plain mowing I too would say the 2305 is great but for any blade or loader work I would push the 2320 or 2520. I went with the 2320 and have mowed a lot and it is great. I have done some loader work and it is also great. It can do about twice the loader work of a 2305. I dont have rear weight yet to counter balance the loader, I will say you must be very careful or you will find the rear wheels in the air in a hurry if the bucket is loaded with no rear weight and you have any slope your working on.

Interesting... It can lift more weight on a pallet, yes, but still uses a 53" bucket. Please explain how a 2320 can do twice the loader work (ie: it can move twice the amount of material in the same amount of time). I just don't get it, is all. I've had my 2305 bucket filled with crushed stone and rip rap and had no problem lifting it or moving with a full bucket (incl in high gear going down the road). Even allowing for barely slower FEL operation, you might finish the job one, MAYBE two loads, before I do. I'm not really sure how that translates to "twice the loader work". Recite specs if you want, but 53" of material is still 53" of material in a different tractor. The difference is noticeable when moving pallets, but most people don't move pallets very often.

I just don't understand how the same sized machine, with the same bucket and FEL, can do twice the work...

If you look at the specs between the 2305 and 2320, the 2320 is rated to lift more weight. I would have to go back and read the specs but I believe it was nearly twice the lift capacity. That was what I was refering to on the loader work.

I agree with that... The 2320 can lift more, has position control, and has a higher ground clearance. But specs only go so far... Like I said, 53" of material is still 53" of material regardless of loader specs. Now with pallets, the 2320 clearly has more power. But just moving material the two machines are pretty much identical.
