OK, I have gone 11 months now without a haircut, and my daughter has found some pics of me before she was born, with my hair just a little shorter than it is now.

Back then was my "hippie" days.

I was going to go in and get my hair cut when the shops began opening last summer, then my neighbor told me that his cousin and wife got the covid cooties when they went in for their first haircuts, so I decided I would wait, and the longer I waited the longer my hair got, so I started thinking maybe if I was to wait long enough, maybe I could donate my hair to cancer survivors. It is now below my shoulders.

I am not sure how long they need it and what parameters they take into account, I do know several people have told me that they do not want dyed hair.

Mine is just natural, gray........

Anyone have any thoughts?

My hairdresser friend sold me a pair of corded pro clippers years ago. I broke down a few months ago, had a few stiff drinks, put on the theme to "Full Metal Jacket" "Hello Vietnam" , and just had my Lady friend buzz it all off. Thrilled to death and have saved a pile of money and time. Last time, forgot or didn't care to use the guard and it really was a little too short.

Our hair cutters are back open for some time, but I see no further need to go.

I haven't been in a Barber Shop in the U.S. for 30 years. Last Barber Shop was in Kuwait 15 years ago.

problem is I have a full head of hair, and I grew up having my father give all the boys a buzz cut, until we could pay for our own hair cuts, and have not had a buzz since.....

also I rarely ever wear a cap, and I enjoy my hair looking decent.

actually as it has grown out, my hair looks good, I really do not mind the long hair......... as of now, if I could sing or play an instrument, I could possibly pass as a band member.....

:D

I would not go to school after getting a hair cut in fear of being made fun of. Always a (REALLY) sore spot between me and my father. He once took me to the barber at around age five and made sure he got his moneys worth. Some spots were virtually bald. I still have a picture with Santa. Sad picture!

Glad, I'm over that and can enjoy short hair. I think and feel it's more manly too. Have an older guy friend with long grey straggly (sp?) hair. No women in his life. I keep telling him to cut off his hair. I hope he doesn't think women (for the most part) find that attractive. Also very unprofessional looking in his line of work.

I don't wear a cap. As far as my looks. I glance in the mirror when brushing my teeth, twice a day, just cause it's there. I spend 15 seconds each morning brushing my short hair. Never look in a mirror otherwise. Little kids don't run away screaming for their mothers so I must be doin okay.....

I've been cutting my hair and beard the day after St Patrick's Day (except the year my Daughter was getting married March 31st) then let it grow the rest of the year. Real simple. I already got the most wonderful woman in the world.

Been using a Robocut for as long as I can remember. It's similar to the Flowbee in that you connect it to the vacuum cleaner and it sucks up the hair as it cuts. It comes with several different extensions so you can leave the hair as long or short as you like. Gives you the exact same haircut every time. Wife trims the back and shaves my neck.

She laughed this morning when they said on the news that ALL the Flowbees sold out when George Clooney said he used one.

My last store-bought haircut was February 6th. We had a haircut kit at home which had never been used. Got it out and my wife has been cutting my hair. She does a great job - my haircuts are much better, so won't be going back to town for haircuts. Saving money, saving trips to town, looking better - what's not to like.
