cracked rusted tires

First off, welcome to TBN!

You can normally run cracked/checked tractor tires for years before they get bad enough to replace....seriously, they can look ugly, and still work fine.

I actually used to live in Great Falls (left there in 1996)....I really miss Montana! I can't even count all the "quick trips" I took out to Belt Creek to get in some fly fishing before it got dark....good times.

Hey, that's awesome you use to live here, we really like it in Great Falls. Should I take the tires into a car shop, like Tirerama or a tractor supply shop to get a tube put in them?

I've moved around for work many times, but Montana was by far my most favorite place to live

I would call any tire shop first to make sure they can handle tires that large, and are equipped to remove the fluid from them.

In case you haven't dealt with this before, tires of that size will be extremely heavy when filled with fluid. You should figure that the fluid adds something like 200-250lbs in that size tire. I'd guess the wheel and tire are at least another 150lbs, so you're talking around 400lbs. People have been badly injured, or killed by loaded tires falling on them. Just something to be aware of before you break out the jack and wrench!
