Loader CT 225 question?

I have a DUMB question here!
What is the Little knob down by your right foot heal, under the seat? It has a turtle and a rabbit, when you turn it one way or the other.

Not a dumb question. Speed lock valve for the 3 point lift. You can vary implement speed drop by closing in on the valve or completely lock it from lowering if closed.

Thanks winston1! I kept meaning to ask, every time I get on the tractor, I look at it and keep saying to meself, need to ask what that does!

BTW There is no such thing as a DUMB question here. There have been a lot of posts on why their 3pt wont go down. Do you have an owners manual? If not get one. There are a few hidden zerks and other things you will need to find to do proper maintenance. That knob is also shown.

I used to live in Peoria, so know your neck of the woods well.

Working on getting my manual. Thanks for the extra info. Wish I was in Colo! I have family there, so I go out and visit at least once a year! Luv it! Great state until Republik of Ca moved in.

If that knob gets turned all the way to the turtle setting, your three point will not move at all. Ask me how I know this.

Heh. Our neighbor has a little tractor and had never used the 3pt as he bought it with the backhoe on it. Decided one day to take the backhoe off. Couldn't get the 3pt arms to go up and down. Decided there must be something wrong with it and started disassembling the arms and linkages and every other part he could take off the back of the tractor. Was just about to load it on a trailer to take it back to the dealer to get fixed when we went over to visit. Yup. He had turned the knob all the way over to the turtle setting.
