Cummins shows a 6.7 turbo gasoline engine on their website for light trucks, 240 to 300hp with similar torque than equivalent diesel ratings. They call it the B6.7 Octane.
It is rumored to replace the 6.4 V8 in 2500 and 3500 Ram trucks.
it still doesnt push out the same hp as a Diesel, but i assume they are a bit hesitant because of the greater heat rejection of less efficient gasoline combustion in the same engine.
