I have an old Du-Al loader on my Farmall 560. Where can I get the bucket hydraulic cylinders rebuilt/repacked, and/or replacement cylinders? The cylinders are 24" compressed and 42" extended between attachment points. The rod appears to be about 2" in diameter. Dale, trafsafe2@aol.com Waterloo, WI, near Madison.

Your local hyd shop can do it for you, or maybe a tractor dealer.

The packing seals are probably 20-30 bucks per cylinder. There may be a wiper too that keeps the dirt out on the end cap.

I'd just take them apart and replace the bits.

I just rebuilt a loader cylinder, the seal kit was $31 or the local hydraulic shop would have charged $150 to rebuild. If you can find a seal kit for it and have a little mechanical ability, you might consider doing it yourself.

I have a ford 1700 tractor that has what I believe to be a 770 ford loader on it. The right tilt cylinder needs the seals replaced but the retainer clip to take it apart has broken off. What can I do for that or where can I get a replacement cylinder?
