Dealer markup on BH92 is much higher than online configurator price

I've been looking at a brand new L3560HST-LE with Cab at my local dealer. It's actually still in the crate; they haven't assembled it yet. When I chatted with the salesman about the price of the backhoe add-on, he said that the online configurator would be way off, because they don't factor in the labor to actually install the backhoe on the tractor. I just got the quote and he was right. The kubota online builder had a price of $10,236 for the BH92 backhoe plus $667 for the mounting kit and $997 for the 18" bucket, so a total of $11,900. Here's the breakdown from the dealer:

I searched those part numbers and it does look like the configurator is missing... one of those kit components, though the new buildmykubota no longer shows the part numbers, so I can't tell which one, I guess what I'm asking is, is $14,200 for a BH92 added on to a brand new tractor a good price, or am I being taken for a ride? The grand total on this tractor (pun intended) is quite high and I'm wondering how negotiable they are these days.

They're taking us all for a ride these days. I wouldn't buy a new one right now. Price gouging is in full effect.

I just took delivery of the same model tractor.
not far off from your price. Any way you look at it, still lots of money in my book.
I starting dealing on my tractor last fall. 2022 pricing, dealer did not want a down payment which made me nervous as hell. I offered to put money down and he didn’t want it. I feared the worse especially after reading thru some posts here. i took delivery two weeks ago, he held to the original pricing!

Call as many dealers in your area as possible and get quotes on the BH setup. If they’re all roughly the same, then you can have some faith in your current quote.

My BH92 was probably half that price new, but it’s been 10 yrs. I sure didn’t get a 100% pay raise since then.

a BH75 for my b7800 was about 10,000$ 15 years ago but that is a much smaller backhoe. prices have definitely gone up...

I found a dealer that would sell me the backhoe and subframe uninstalled it took less than 2 hours to do the hardest part was locating the correct taps to chase the threads on the tractor there are about a dozen bolts to install and the power beyond it is not a big deal to install yourself the directions are made for a fifth grader to understand
