Your belt doesn't have a chunk out of it does it?
Negative, belt is in good shape.
Your belt doesn't have a chunk out of it does it?
If it continues to run,I would think that something after the cluch, is putting a heavy load on the engine, causing it to stall. If I remove the belt and engage the pto and the motor still runs, I would be led to believe the electric clutch is the culprit since it's not under load. If it cuts off, I would think a bad switch. Correct?
There is a SLIGHT chance that the clutch has something loose that lets is bind when there is a side load placed on it, but generally, I agree with you.If it continues to run,I would think that something after the cluch, is putting a heavy load on the engine, causing it to stall.
the only thing that may cause the clucth to bind ,would be a bad idler bearing on the pulley that is part of the pto assembly.
If your clutch is fully engaging when you flip the switch, I dont beleive there is a problem with your clutch or switch.
I just thought of something (someone else may want to chime in on this) I beleive there is some type of breaking system on the PTO clutch,is it possible this could be the problem?( break not reliesing?)
Just installed new clutch and all is well. Thanks everyone for your help.
