I haven't. A friend of mine 1/2 a mile away showed me a picture of him a couple weeks ago. Shortly after that he started showing up on our cameras. After killing that 8 pt with a bow in September I haven't been back and waiting on muzzle loader to go back November 2nd. We only get 2 buck tags where we live and I want to hunt with a gun some, we are good on meat and my wife wants to shoot one or two as well.

Are there any limits on your two buck tags there? We can shoot 4 deer here. 2 does, a spike and one buck that has to be wider then 13 inches. They call that Antler Restrictions, or AR. The does used to be limited to the 4 day Thanksgiving weekend, but starting this year, they have changed it to the first week of the season. We've never shot a doe, but might this year if we see one without any fawns. We really enjoy the meat and would like enough to last us a lot longer.

We can shoot 6 deer, either 2 bucks and 4 does or 6 does. We don't have any restrictions on buck size. We can shoot does from when bow season comes in the weekend after Labor Day until January 1st when gun season goes out.

Growing up and hunting in the 80's-90's we had 2 days a season we could shoot does. I guess it's paying off having those restrictions back then.

This deer disappeared late August. That short brow tine is unmistakable. He’s back!

Muzzle loader comes in Saturday. Hopefully my wife and I can both pinch.
