Hi
I sure could use some help.

I haven't started my 4115 in a month or so, and when I tried, battery was weak.
It started to crank, then click.

I hooked up a good charge vehicle to jump start it.

I started to crank, then click.

Now I have no power what so ever. Turn on key, nothing lights up.

All fuses good.

Battery tests 12 volts, but under load, its weak.
I hooked up another battery that doesn't test "weak" just to see, still no power.

Relay some where or something?

Under dash panel, along steering column, there are 4 relay-like things.
I tried tapping on each. Nothing.

Any ideas??
Thanks.

I would begin by replacing the battery if it's weak. Then I'd thoroughly clean the cable ends and check for any corrosion between the end and the cable. Replace the cables and tighten securely. After that I'd follow the ground cable to the frame and be sure I had a clean, solid connection there. When this is all completed you can begin troubleshooting - though it may no longer be necessary.

Yes, I started with the ground connections.
Years of dealing with snow removal equipment in the middle of the nights, it was always a ground connection.
I always start there.

Cleaned all contacts. I even ran jumper cables from the ground to other spots on the chassis to try bypass/add additional points.
Still no power what so ever. Nothing at the switch, Nothing at the fuse box. Nada.

If the starter or starter relay fails, can that cause no power to fuse panel/ignition switch ect?

Turn on ignition switch, no clicking, no fuel pump, no dash lights.

I have power to nothing.

Most tractors have a main fuse located near the alternator. Usually a large fuse, like 60 amp. You didnt happen to hook up jumper cabled backwards ?

Hi thanks for your reply.

No, I didn't hook them up wrong.
I am wondering if the better being weak cooked something in starter relay??

I can't find a main fuse, and schematic doesn't show anything.
I am about to run a jumper out of relay, to see if dash gets power.

Man, i swear my jd870 had a main fuse up by alternator. I just recall it going bad once and all electronic, i mean all, went out. But after 10+ years maybe it was all a dream

schematic shows a fuse, I can't tell the size, but its after the ignition switch.

I had a broken wire at the little 3 fuse assembly on the left side. I bought a new one from Deere and it came with the 3 fuses.
