I prefer a wide front over the narrow, or should I say did.

Talk about deviating on a thread, we went from diesel in a lawnmower to distillate in a Barn yard Buick.......

Thinking about it, I bet you could get a lawnmower to run on diesel without choking it. Put a carburetor shroud on the carb like the Farmall has. Your average lawnmower has at least the compression of the old Barn yard Buick so it should be doable, well, if the pot metal carb on the lawnmower can take the heat without melting that is.....

How is diesel going to do any physical damage to a two cycle engine.

It plugs the muffler. I ran a two stoke auger on Jet B once in a pinch, and it quit after only five minutes of work. Oil poured out of the muffler while I was using it.

I actually bought her just because she was a narrow front ( and she was cheap too ).

I love rowcrops.
