I am wondering what the difference is between the YM1720 , YM1710 and the YM1702 series?

Not sure there is a 1710, however, the 1720 and 1702 both have the 3t75u engines, both have wet brakes, but the 1702 is a geared transmission and the 1720 is a power shift. The 02 and 20 series tractors all have a little more trim and gauges than the 10 or 00 series.

Joe,
If you had a choice of picking one, the YM1720 is the best overall deal with it's options. Many came with OE factory power steering and PowerShift.

The 3T75 engine family is in the domestic imported YM220, YM226, YM250. It's in the genset LE family too.


Oddly, no YM1710. Yet the YM1700 came in 3 flavors over time.
