DK45 smokes white at all times

Tractor time with Tim made a video after they ended up buying a "hot" tractor off an auction 3 years ago or so.

Get it knocking and loosen an injector line AT THE INJECTOR and listen for the knock to go away..if it’s still there, tighten the line and move to the next one..
Your trying to narrow it down to A cylinder.. good luck

I'll try that tonight.

My mechanic said may be head gasket (after seeing the video). What's everyone's opinion on that? It's a 2h haul to get it to them, so i def, want to do as much work myself as I can.

I couldn't find either injectors online for this model, anyone know where one might look for them (in case it's them). The engine is a 4a22.

Don’t buy them off the web..
Sendm to me.. I’ll test them for free..& I’m a master at fixing spray patterns..
And if for some reason they can’t be fixed, I can get new tips..

Cracked the injectors just now.

Cold and rainy day here, so it was smoking pretty good already.

Cracked #1: almost stalled right away
Cracked #2: no major change
Cracked #3: started stalling
Cracked #4: no major change

All four lines had diesel squirt out though.

So 2 & 4 seem to b the problem..
But get them all checked..

Badmonkey, maybe GBBBBB could have said it more polite but he did make a valid point. When serial number plate is missing it does make one wonder if it is or was stolen. Yes some get torn off totally by accident. But missing or defaced serial numbers at least to me is a cause of concern. Again there can be a valid reason for that and not sure you had posted anywhere before his comment that you had the paperwork.
