dk55 axle fix

I've just received my letter and called the dealer. It sounds easy enough, just need to get the time to take it in. Has anyone had this fix?

This is the addition of the metal piece to strengthen the outer gears on the front end, right?

Kioti sent out letters to all registered owners of the DK55. I would think most people have received them so far.

Cudos to Kioti for not waiting until there was a big issue.

As far as notifications go I would think so. However, all the dealers received a service bulletin on them, so owners of the used ones can get covered if the contact a dealer, I would imagine.

I don't, of course, know for sure, but I think that's the way it will be.

What is the problem with the front axle? I have had mine for about 6 months. I bought it used, a 2004 model with 200 hours. Thanks for the info.
