Do I need a hitch that distribute. The load to keep my truck from sinking to much.

Thanks when I add the #s I get 8500 and that's with the trailer

You better add again.....what weights are you using?

Tractor....2wd............4500#
Loaded tires................900#
Disc..........................500# give or take
And you loader with bucket.....given the front strap/framework....I am betting is closer to 2000#

So....we are up to 7900# without talking about the trailer.

I added 4150 for tractor

1,200 for loader

800lbs for tires because that's what I paid for

2500 for trailer

Tractor is 4500, not 4150, so add another 350# there

I used 900# for tire ballast, because thats what you said in post # 7

My really small L3400 loader, without a wrap around frame like that, weighed 1200#.

My current 50hp tractor..... loader is 1720#, and again, dont have the front wrap frame.

So Id say at least 1500 on the bottom end for your loader, so add another 300# there

And you forgot the ~500# disk hanging off the back.....

So you are at the very least, figuring about 1150# too light.

I think you meant a 14K trailer not a 14 ton.
Your truck could not handle a 14 ton trailer.
