My rescue Kali. My vet thinks she is 6 years old. Vet thinks Lab with some Golden. A dog trainer I know sees some Austrailian Cattle dog.

I should have named her Velcro because I cant take a step without her stuck to me.

Could be some cattle dog in her since she has a white blaze on her chest. Looks to be a fair amount of Alpo or Purina in her too . Rescue dogs can be GREAT dogs and it sounds like you got one. I’d slim her down a bit. Congratulations!

Her coat is a little deceiving. When she stands, you can feel all her ribs. About 70#.

I've known this guy for two years, still don't know his name yet.

He sits off the road about 70 yards and watches me and my wife walk by. When we come back, he'll come closer to the road waiting. Started bringing treats the last year, and every night he looks for us LOL

Velcro. That's the best kind.

My rescue dogs rarely leave me out of their sight and guard me 24/7. If I'm in the barn, they wait outside and guard the door. Take a shower and they guard that door. Take a nap and they guard the bed. We're best buds forever.

Younger of the daughter's two Akitas, a male named Crichton.

Here he is with his older cousin, Fate. She puts up with a lot from the pup and when he gets a little older I think they'll be great pals.

Better picture of Crichton. His ears are starting to stand up permanently. Not normally a big fan of white dogs, but this little guy is changing my mind.
