Everlast PowerArc 160

Mark, are there more of these available? I do have a MM180 MIG machine, and an ancient A/C only buzz-box that I bought in 1980. I don't use it for much anymore, and probably don't need more than the Miller, but a new Everlast A/C & D/C stick plus, would be pretty cool.

Yes these are available. But they are not AC. They are DC only. But when you have a DC stick unit, you'll say AC what??

Hi Mark, nice talking with you a few days ago. Sorry again about your FIL. Eagerly waiting on the 200st, if I didn't need to run 120v I would have went with the 160. And like you said why would anybody want to run AC when you have DC available for stick welding. We used to run AC rod on DC all the time. The only thing I ever used AC for was Aluminum TIG and thawing Pipes! CJ

Huh I felt it was pretty mediocre been awhile since I walked a cup. <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=467316"/>
I'm searching for a 'Bow Down' animated emoji to post.

Want to touch base here again I actually used the 160 pretty extensively this AM to weld out my tooth bar and it did and exceptional job. Want to apologize to SA for my 7018 skills I'm mostly a mig/tig guy don't get a lot of stick time in the shop.

They look very good to me. With these inverter welders, I find ESAB's Acclaim 7018 runs the best.

I'll have to keep my eyes out for those I mostly buy the TSC stuff because it's easy and come in a manageable quantity for home use.

I have my local Airgas bring them in for me. The welding supply I normally deal with, is not an ESAB dealer.:(

Looks good to me.. The little PA160 is small, lightweight, easy to carry, and makes some nice 7018 beads! I know I have one...
