Did a water test when the house was new and found a few things that needed correcting. Shopper around and found a guy that I liked so we had the talk about "this had better work or you WILL fix it at your cost". It was above $6000.00 so I was not going to have that much into it and still have bad water. After service visits for a few years, he came to the house and put some media in one tank, was there less than 1.5 hours. I had my checkbook and asked him how much: he shrugged his shoulders and said $700. Then he handed me a slip with 3 words on it, and I cannot read what they say---awful penmanship. See ya later Dude!
Come to think of it, on an earlier visit I asked him if I should check for organics or arsenic. He said no, "sometimes you're better off not knowing". This comes from a water treatment guy.
