flasher for jinma

I personally wouldn't waste the money on an electronic flasher. Go to Flasher Products - Consumer Replacement - Trico Products. I'd be happy with the model 550 thermal. Don't know if there's any O'Reilly Auto Parts around your area, but they sell that flasher for $3.99

I found an replacement for the Jinma part SG-3C flasher on Amazon. It is electronic type so the type of bulbs used won't affect the flashing rate. The flasher is usually used on Suzuki, Motorcycle Honda, Kawasaki, Ninja, Aprilia RST1K, Yamaha, KTM and other brands motorcycles.

The part number of the electronic flasher is FM-DC12V-Y. It is available on Amazon. I installed my today, and it works perfectly.

Hey Gears, FYI this thread is 14 years old. Some members have since passed away.

I'd suspect it is not the bulbs or the flasher per say but a short somewhere.
Could even be corrosion in one of the bulb sockets.
A volt/ohm meter will be your friend.
(remove all bulbs and the flasher and check for grounding)
