My 67 Ford 3000 has a block heater in it, but it is missing the cord. I don't know if I can find a cord that matches it, but if I want to check to see if the element is even any good, I just need to check resistance right?? Is there a value of Ohms I should be looking for?
I looked at several aftermarket block heaters for a Ford 3000 on google and they seem to range from 600 to 750 Watts. But most have an o-ring. Only one I found is threaded and that's what this one looks like? Does it just unthread?
Just wondering what my options are.....find a cord, replace whole thing or do something else?
