Ford 3400 starting problem

Trble starting my Ford 3400, if think it is the ignition switch, I could turn it off aand on and eventtually it would start, it finally quit doing that, no clicking no nothin, trying to get the sw out to replace, stuck, can anyone tell me how to remove this switch, tried reaching under neath but not enuff room, it looks similar to 3000's and other trsctors in this series, any help apreciated.

No problem getting switch out, all you got to do is remove the dash, did this and replaced the switch and thought all was good, now I still have a the same problem with the new switch intermitent will not start, won't do nothing, took the switch back out and it cranked fine while I had it in my hand, put it all back together and cranked great 7-8 times, ran it down road and back and it would not crank, really starting to get under my skin, got to be a loose connection some where,

Mine used to do this and it turned out to be the ground from the battery wasn't making full contact. Cleaned it out and all is well.

yep; that cowling is a PITA

I have drilled out and cut nuts before to get them thinks out when they spun / broke
