Well I have had a leak from my fuel filter since I bought the tractor. Not much, but this week it started a steady drip. I removed the fuel filter and found that whoever had changed it never removed the gasket from the base and had double gasketed it. I removed one of the gaskets and that seemed to solve that problem, but in the process of bleeding the lines, I loosed the nut that holds the fuel inlet to the injector. Now that is dripping when I run the tractor, but appears to stop when the tractor is not running. As best I can tell, the leak is at the connection of the injector body to the inlet body. I would think there should be a gasket or o ring there, but cannot see anything. I have some pictures that I located and put arrows on them which show the location of the leak. Second picture is better.
If I try to spin the nut I can only go so far because of the inlet at the top, which was in the 12 oclock position, and although the inlet body looks like 3 individual pieces I cannot tighten the nut because the whole unit spins, even if I hold the piece containing the inlet. There also is a crushed washer (?) between the nut and the piece containing the inlet.
Anyone have a suggestion or a similar problem? I guess it is a trip to the Ford dealer tomorrow.

Pictures are not of my tractor, they are for illustrative purposes only.

That is called a banjo fitting. There should be a copper crush washer on either side of the fuel line.

There is only one copper washer and it is between the nut and the piece containing the fuel inlet. Other one must be missing. I have the I&T manual , but it does not have the schematic of that assembly.

Banjo Fitting <---- This is what it should look like. I believe the line you have indicated is actually the fuel return line.

Only one copper washer between nut and fuel line is present. Better get two new ones tomorrow.
I guess the whole assembly needs to be removed. When I tired to move the nut today everything rotated together.

You do not loosen that line when bleeding. It may transport air back to filter, which you just bled before, if you open it.
You only need to use the small bleeding screw to the left of the line in question, in picture. It could be to the right of the line on your pump.

Ok, I went to the Ford dealer today. He says that is the input line. There should be two copper washers, on each side, just like the picture from DT86(thanks). However , the extension from the plate should not be spinning, which may mean it is broken and in that case the whole plate needs to be replaced. He did not have a used one, and a new one is $98 ! I will check it next week when I am at the farm.

Check again with a shop that specializes in diesel injection. Those CAV injection pumps came on a million different motors and parts are readily available from others than just Ford.

I am going to do that. The guy at the Ford dealer gave me the number of a local place that specializes in injectors/parts. Wish he had given me the Ford part number, but I will call him next week.
