Ford recalls F-250, F-350, F-450 trucks for faulty tailgate latch

I have a cousin that has a new F-350. He loves the power tailgate option. He can be in the truck, lower the tailgate without getting out, and back up and hook-up to his 5th wheel. Then finally get out and latch the 5th and plug the umbilical cord in. It saves him a process of having to stop and get out of the truck to lower the tailgate and get back in the truck.

If they could add a camera to see the GN ball that would be great.

Uh ... it's already there? Since 2017. Drop tailgate with remote, back up, stop when your ball is under the GN hitch.

It sure took long enough. How long have cameras been good enough to pull it off? 10-15 years maybe?

Got the cargo camera. Pretty neat idea it seems. Of course once I got the truck home and installed the bed height tool box (not one of those that sets on the top of the bed) it blocks the view of the gooseneck ball. One more gizmo on the vehicle that has little practical use.
