Free 328# Peter Wright anvil, on a stand

Well, neither of us won it. I wasn't sure what I would do with that nice of an anvil anyways, escept make Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner movies.
Come to think of it we're also giving an anvil away...it's nowhere near as nice as the above but has "character"... my father used it for years and now it's going to a family friend.

Me either... guy in Oklahoma won it. Wonder if it was because he was close to the shipper? Cost to ship that puppy probably isn't cheap to a residence.

My 98lb Peter Wright - about 1850. Got it to lug around for demos back in the early 1980's. Nice to work on. Been sitting mostly now.

Beautiful anvil. Close to the size I’m looking for. I need something in the 100-150lb range. I was using my father’s 130ish lb Peter Wright for a while but he needed it back.

Being out here in the PNW... I never see anvils. Maybe someday when I retire, we will take a long road trip in a small RV and have as one our missions to find an old big anvil! Sounds fun to me but not sure how the better half would like that plan.
