front mounted snowblowers HP required

My Kioti CK 30 ( 23 PTO ) HST with 6' front mount blower and love it . It will throw snow 100 + feet with ease. My driveway is 1000 feet and also parking area and front of the house. No banking and job is nice and clean. Have a heated cab on top of that which is nice to have on those cold days.

I have a mile long gravel driveway. Been out here in the sticks for 38 years now. First tractor had a 3-point blower. Worked great but was slow and I always ended up with sore shoulders and neck. Ten years ago I bought a brand new Kubota M6040. Got an ultra heavy duty rear blade and have never had troubles clearing the driveway with this unit.

Since I've always owned a 4WD vehicle - clearing whatever snow we get has never been a priority. I can always bust thru and get to the county road with no troubles.

Sooooo ....... I plow when & if conditions are at their best. I enjoy plowing when the temps are +10F to +20F. The snow is hard & dry and plows nicely.
