When I was looking at them, they had an arrangement of running a forward mounted thrower off the rear pto. I recall seeing a hydraulic operated blower attached to a quick connect front end loader, but I don't think it was an off-the-shelf item.

Hello Daveee,
Check with the folks at Riest industries in Elmira, Ontario. Their Series 1000 single stage mechanical drive snow thrower should fit the bill nicely.
It is rated for mules with 15 to 25 horsepower and It can be front mounted with their front mount hydraulic lift kits.
They have all the parts you need for both front and rear mounts.
The picture I uploaded shows a series 1000 mounted on a Melroe Bobcat but you can also mount them on the rear three point hitch of your mule to use the 540 RPM power take off.
The rotor/auger speed can be changed/increased or decreased by changing the sprocket sizes which is easily done by the end user with simple hand tools and a torque wrench and blue loctite.

Note their front blowers do not have the gear box in the middle of the auger. A flawed design based upon walk behind Big box store products not something shoved into a snow bank with a tractor.

I bought a used Kubota 2750 blower with the mount and mid PTO shaft for $700, a few months ago. I haven't tried it, yet, as we haven't had any snow, here. It looks like it will do a crazy amount of snow a lot easier than the bucket and rear blade method. Hopefully, we get a ton of snow, this winter. Last year, I had 21 clients lined up, for snow removal and no storms over two inches.

Suggest you need to check on the shear bolt design you have to avoid a lot of frustration that could happen in the snow,
This is the design which others have had problems with where the shear bolt goes through the shaft
This is the newer or upgrade design which is far more durable.
If you have the former design, then the correct Kubota shear bolts are critical.
Note the grooves cut into the shank of the bolt to help it fail.
Use the wrong bolt and you risk this:
