Front tire slice repair

If its just on the lug and not the sidewall it won't hurt nothing. I don't know of any glue strong enough to hold up to tire flex short of vulcanization. You could try gorilla glue or a sell vulcanizing cement. There are many glues available. Do a net search for vulcanizing rubber tire cement.

good place to start, it should work for a bit of time, if not - no loss except time and "glue" (vulcanizing is more like welding)
mean-while I agree with saving for a new and using it for spare.
-- "glue" would last longer or shorter depending on the actual use, something to consider. --

I don't think so, I have tried that shoe glue on sneakers and it might work for a few weeks, don't see it working on a tire

The thing is that with rubber tires is that they will dry rot pretty much regardless of the amount of use. My father is an RVer. He has seen more than one five year old RV with only 20K on it needing tires replaced because of the dry rot.

I would suggest you save your money for later.

Give this stuff a try, spray it on or in the cut,
do it in layers, and let each layer dry.
I've used this on a side cut and it's still holding.
It's more of a "protection", to stop rocks etc from entering the cut, try it,
I'm sure you'll like it.
