Fuel filter on John Deere 5520

Maybe a stupid question, but what is A&I?

It's a parts company that JD bought part ownership of that sells parts for farm equip by independent dealers plus JD dealers. Here's an example of a JD part I looked up earlier on another forum. The lower PN is for A&I. Some parts from A&I are dramatically lower than JD prices. I've had an AC evaporator in my JD 4255 for several years with no problems. Most of the time on can just add A- preceding part number on JDparts.com to get a price for A&I part for JD

Update on fuel issues with my 5520. I had severe loss of power when I started cutting hay this spring. Any time the tractor had a good load on it, it would start to sputter and lose power. Changed both fuel filters, no improvement. I wound up replacing the primer pump on top on the engine mounted fuel filter and so far that has fixed the problem. I am pretty sure the bottom O ring on the assembly was bad and just replacing that would have fixed the problem a lot cheaper.
