Already two years since we have the property, so we needed a new gate entrance. The first picture shows how the old one was. Unfortunately we are the weekend warriors on this property, but for this project I had to work just myself.
As we have more than 40 acres of wood wasn't any problem to find the post gate so I said, let use three insteed. The big challenge was the use of post hole digger (never did it before). Took me more than 4 hours to dig 3 holes (on first 12" was nice soil, but the rest was a nightmare, rocks, rocks and again rocks...) plus more than a dozen of share bolts.
What is left to do; to install the cedar shingles and the post on other side. I'll add the pics to show the progress.....
