GC1700 or 2400 grapple??

is there anyone out there running a GC1700 or 2400 with a bucket grapple system? I would love to see the setup before I buy the tractor.

I don't have a grapple but I do have a GC2400 and I love it. Have had it 4 years and if it was destroyed today I would go back and get another Massey.

Are you speaking of an FEL grapple or a backhoe grapple ("thumb")?

I have a thumb for my backhoe, and it has been extremely useful. One of the best add-ons I've purchased.

Everything Attachments seems a "light weight" grapple

Everything Attachments Compact Wicked Root Grapple 50"

Since there is no 3rd function valve that I am aware of for the little Masseys, you would need a rear remote and have to run the hydraulic lines forward.

Not necessarily... An electric diverter can be had on eBay for $500, which can be plumbed into the loader lines to essentially give you third function.

I'll stand by my statement of "not that I am aware of"...well, now I am aware that there is a solution! Do you have any more details...with a little luck, someone has already added one to the little Massey's and has a thread detailing it's install and operation?

Basically, you choose one of your hydraulic circuits (like the curl circuit), you plumb that into the diverter, then back out to the tractor cylinders again... And then you have an alternate circuit available at the push of a button. It momentarily diverts fluid from your curl cylinders and to the new circuit, only while you depress the diverter button, which you wire up to a 12v power terminal, and attach to your loader joystick.
