My machine is a perfect example of why you should NOT leave your tractor exposed to UV. The parts of the lines that were exposed to UV looked twice as old.

Everyone wishes a certain part was built better. But frankly, For what these cost, (especially the original models), you can't expect it to be completely bullet proof. I've been satisfied with mine, aside from the transmission pump defect the first models had, that MF never fully took care of.
Compare how much a Bobcat subcompact TLB costs. They are considered to be rental grade, they cost a whole lot more.
