Is there a source somewhere that has the speeds achieved in different gears for Yanmar tractors? I thought I remembered seeing this somewhere, but I can't find it. I am personally interested in seeing them for the YM1700 and YM2210...

the speeds for the 2210 are in that parts pdf I sent you. I know the writing is in Japanese but if you just look it over real good I think you can figure out the speeds.

On mine they are slow, slower, super slow and ridiculously slow then in creep they are insane slow, undetectable slow and imaginary movement.

I thought I would never use 1/1. But its ideal for lurching forward on rough ground, sneaking up on a pallet, and adjusting fork height and tilt at the last moment. While standing up ( no access to clutch pedal) to see what I'm doing.

Aside from that use, I can't imagine tilling that slow. It would take weeks.

No Need for Brakes either :D
1/1 can also be for those who have only 1 brake or none at all;)
incidentally which is slower, granny gear or turtle slow?

On my 186D 1/1 I think that I could get off the tractor, and get a cup of coffee in town, and come back and the plow would not have moved 6 feet.

I can recall when I first unloaded my 2000 off the trailer. I wanted to be careful so I put it in 1/1. It hardly moved. WT:confused: never used Low Gear at the Dealer and had me worried until I went through all the gears making sure there wasn't a problem.:confused2:
