Recently, the rain and strong winds caused many trees to fall down in central California.
Also, It caused the barbed wire fence to need repair.

@jkk04 I like mine, too! I've had one for something like twenty years, so I think that they have been around for awhile...

Having three clamps means you can pull more than the twenty four or so inches internal to the clamps, and can tighten quite a bite of wire at one go, before walking down the line to fasten it to the T-posts.

I grew up with the rope versions, and while they are effective, I find that the ropes tend to get twisted if I am not careful when I am hauling them around. I still have them and use them when I'm putting up a bunch of strands, but I use the Goldenrod to do the actual splicing.

My only complaint is that when resetting the central ratchet, it can jam on the terminal clamp mechanism. (100% Operator error.)
