I知 not seeing where I disagree with you. I知 just saying it was an easy leap early on when it was considered a respiratory only virus. Now they know better, thus the hindsight comment.

Fair enough ...

Worked from home for once. After work, I managed to get the mower out to take care of more leaves that had blown in behind the house, then kept going and mowed the front areas.

So far, plans still on for thanksgiving.

Rain let up and turned into a nice day. Productive as well. Finished the window trims. Doors are installed and ready for trim, except I’m short 2 pieces.

Cottage tenants treated to Mexican take out, brought here to house for socially distant, outside. Nice to leisurely visit with live people.

good morning all.
Another nice warmer day, 44 out now going up to low 60's.
Yesterday afternoon took my folding chair out and sat by rear of house reading a book,
with the sun's reflected rays off the house keeping me warm. Hope to do that again today, so tired of staying
inside house.

I think one of the real danger spots is eating together in enclosed spaces. Let's face it, you aren't far apart and you can't wear your mask
to eat. That's why I have invested in HEPA 13 air purifiers and run them whenever I have anyone in the house, which isn't often. And if I do go to VA
for Thanksgiving, which now appears unlikely, I would take several air purifiers with me to set up in dining room.

Toppop and Don, thanks for good info.

David, your building project really looks excellent and fun to watch it in each stage. Never thought you could make a metal container look so good.
You've really done a nice job with it.

Found out that my second wife has moved to Lahaina Hawaii. Perhaps what I went through this year has made me feel more mortal...but after 20 years have decided to make contact
again. Need to be careful, she is apparently permanently disabled due to emotional problems and living with daughter there. I married her less than a year after my first divorce, really bad decision that become obvious quickly. But there were three kids in the household and they were wonderful and I always felt that I let them down. The one who used to jump in my arms every
night when I came home from work OD'd five years ago, a very troubled family that I just was unable to "fix" without going under myself. But I decided to leave her a little money in my latest will revision and figured I should make contact. So I wrote a letter to the address I found by Googling and will see if I get an answer. If the address is even correct, often they are old and don't work, and the letter gets through (like a message in a bottle?) I won't tell her about the will, just making contact after all these years.
My step sister lives outside of Honolulu but getting from one island to another, as David sure knows, is not so easy. Only thing I know about Lahaina is the Loggins & Messina song.
Unfinished business for sure in my soul.

RNG, your suggestion about the sander is a good one. I just might fiddle around out in the woodshop today, want to take advantage of warmer weather.

Good morning, the temp is 28°F and that will be the high for today. Wind N 9 gusting to 17 mph. 60% chance of flurries.

Got two new kittens, one orange and white tabby and his brother a grey and white tabby. They are pretty timid right now, but that is to be expected. One for sure was in the litter tray and most of the food and water I put down for them is already gone.
I will keep them in my man cave until they figure out how to escape.

I don't have much planned for today, so I will take it as it comes.

Have a safe and healthy day all

48 right now...the "high" today will be a bit cooler at the mid-40's.

Chores: Dump run...maybe get 5 gallons of off-road diesel. The tractor's tank is almost full, but it's nice to keep some extra on hand. If wifey wants to go to the store, I'll take her.
That's about it, I reckon...
