Guys won H&F, very lopsided game. Gals not happy.

Haven’t heard if my roof crew will show today, but basically ready for them.

Guess I’ll be flexible in what I do.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Wife sent me pictures earlier this morning of our chicken coop. Something dug a large hole under the fence and went in and killed a bunch of our hens; five dead, two missing. I'm livid. So, when I get home this evening, I get to go have an unpleasant talk this evening with our new neighbors, whose large dogs seem to keep getting out of their completely fenced in property, and have been spending a lot of time at the fence staring at our chickens.
(sigh)

Does anyone use IFTTT. I found out my hearing aids can utilize it.

Goedemorgen iedereen !!! :) (Dutch greetings)

I have another day in town, leaving shortly.
LOTS of Thunder and Rain last night ... no, I didn't measure it ... kinda came outta no where (not on weather forcast, my truck windows were open a bit, seat in probably soaked - ha) lasted for a few hours.
NEW tax / bookkeeping client brought me 4 yrs of stuff to do - this is going to keep me busy for awhile
ice cream car cruise tonight though
I'm getting 5-6 pages behind in this thread again (prayers as I know them) - I'll need to catch up later
Our Prayer requests - 1) shoulder / arm / fingers still in recuperation process 2) wife is still out or town, and she is NOT doing well physically, mentally worn down too 3) my buddy decided last week to stop drinking alcohol, realized the problem, started going to AA meetings. I fully support him and will attend with him if he'd like. Going to be a struggle, but he's committed to change :)

cheers for now

in between now
good trip to the garden, pulled the potatoes out, pretty small and a little buggy but should be good.
Took a big bag of tomatoes, peppers and squash to nearby neighbor, wife was delighted.

one hefty one, other side not so pretty

73° with dew point at 70. Overcast, a couple sprinkles, not enough to make mud.

Good morning, overnight rain and up to 84 today. Trees are happy.

PJS - good luck on the job hunt!

Riptides - sounds like a rough day, it will get better though.

Stay safe and be well,

Last stop before Flying home was Lucerne. Stayed on the river in the old town. Big lake and super clean. When in Switzerland, you can almost always see mountains in the background.

We stayed at hotel pickwick in Lucerne, just on left of your first picture I think. Did you see the lion carved in stone or go up Mt Pilatus?

seems every day (or at least every second day) lately requires a trip to the city. Can't get any real work done at all.
I got a letter from the hospital saying they are going to operate on 2 fingers and one thumb, BUT, it may take 12 months before they can do it. grrr. Geez, I waited 20 months just to see the specialist and now they tell me another 12 months. The system is really broken so it looks like pain for another year or so. So frustrating to have pain every time you pick something up and then drop it it. Little nuts and bolts are a real challenge now. Just have to stick to mowing the grass I guess. Frightened to tell the Dr I need scans on my shoulders but may as well get the wheels in motion. When the time comes I should be a very healthy dead person.

Best of luck with the job PJ. What fingers still work are crossed for you.
