good morning all
55 going up to 77 today in clouds.

have to clean up my office a bit first thing so Verizon guy can easily get to router this afternoon for install.
Then headed outside to fire up the cordless mower.
For 30 bucks more, they had a package deal where a small leaf blower was also included, I bit on that, though I already have two...
I doubt this one will work as well as my well loved Makitas.

Ron, nice lighthouse. Now see if you can get it to light up at night.

Coffee is done brewing, 61° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 75° with possibility of rain in morning. Got about 10 drops of rain. After getting gas and diesel cans put away. Decided to do a conserve energy day. Those cans are heavy when loaded with fuel. Never made it to new Kubota dealer. Another conserve energy day today.
Put out a request for Lighthouse Keeper on my Garden Pond. Only got one applicant.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Well, you might get more applicants if you didn’t pay them peanuts…

Good morning from Central Texas. More rain now, remainder of the day and tomorrow. Looks like another delay to get winter grass cut off the hay field.. Nothing to do about it. Had numerous outdoor project / plans today, but looks like an indoor day. Need to clean up various messes anyway.

The USAF continues to develop a pod mounted laser system. The Self-Protect High Energy Laser Demonstrator (SHiELD) pod would be used to protect aircraft from air to air and surface to air missiles. Further testing and development in progress.

Hope all enjoy the day.

Good morning! Thunderstorms are continuing here also, Yea!!!! We always need more rain, finally some run-off for the lake. 63˚F, .8" rain and still coming down. We are under a flash flood watch. The biggest question is will the "Farm" be opened today, I'll text them and tell them I'm on stand-by till they make up their minds.

I turned off the irrigation to the raised bed potatoes yesterday and as soon as it dries next week I will harvest them. I noticed several potatoes bugs on the leaves.
After our evening walk, I decided to mow the front yard at 7:30 last night and was finished by 8pm. You can do that with a battery mower without disturbing neighbors.

Nice ! Hope your potatoes don't rot. Forecast sound like a few more days of rainfall ?

Good morning, already 65 this morning and a little drizzle earlier dry now.

Hit a rock in the rough tree area yesterday mowing that stalled the mower. It runs fine after clearing over the rock with no vibrations but will have to sharpen blades soon. New trees are growing well this year as you can see the oak below.

Did get some of the tree area mowed yesterday setting the deck up at 5 inches and it kept up without stalling out. Will do a couple of sections of lawn today and see if time some more tree planting mowing. While the grass is wet anyway look at some the service work. Need to find the bucket oil pump to use for trans oils.

Buppies, be careful working on the trees and stay on level to keep balance.

70 going to 76, and rain.

Will be nice to have a rest day.

Jay, that's a healthy bear! Glad I'm only seeing them on trail camera pix.

Yesterday morning the phoebes under the shelter fledged, so I was able to reclaim my shelter. I ran the splitter for the final planned load of firewood for the season. Brought a pallet over with the tractor, got it all stacked, moved and put away.

Then crawled around under the house where I had set mousetraps...3 suckers. I think I know where they got in and will have to fix. Worked in the garden and set some tomatoes, peppers, and flowers. Mowed for a couple of hours to cool off. Watched a little baseball.
