Good morning! Low of 48°, going up to 80°. Sunny.

Drew, that soapstone stove is big! Beautiful home, love the post and beam construction.
You will probably not see any balloons or deal with any traffic if you're going off on 87. Too far north.

Dennis, that's one good trip, covered a lot of ground for sure!

Buppies, hope they get the truck fixed and back to you asap.--- no excuses from them now....

Wng, neat companion for hiking. Not everyday you can see that.

Off to the university shortly, will make a Costco run too. Short list, so shouldn't be too bad.

PT is interesting to say the least.... doesn't feel like they are doing much of anything, then about 4 hours later, the nerves let me know that they were messed with. Strange that there is such a long delay. Not a good night sleeping last night.

Everyone have a great day!

Prayers for all our Country those suffering from floods in Appalachia it is bad
Agreed. Thanks for the kind thoughts about others, Buppies.

The aftermath from guests at my home who all caught Covid continues. Everyone will survive, nobody hospitalized, just some dealing with it more than others. Our friend from Oregon has lung issues so she has had the roughest time. Both of them have had every conceivable vaccine and booster, probably well more than 10 shots, but caught it anyway.

We've never had Covid before, so I cannot compare it to anything. But this has been quite weird for me-- at one point flattened and bedridden for a few days, then seemed to bounce back 98%, but then re-onset of symptoms but not as bad. Kind of like waves I guess-- that get a little smaller each time.

I think a lot of patience is needed waiting for recovery ...

Everyone have a great day !!!

Got meds picked up, but no mowing today. Getting a drizzle of rain, everything is wet. maybe if sun comes out and we get some wind it might dry some... Got bills to pay and paperwork to do. snagglepuss left another mouse offering on the porch. Got 3 or the 4 vehicle renewals in the mail, one still missing... A bill I paid before our trip never cleared the bank, got another bill in the mail. good ole USPS....
At this point I don't see the point in any more covid "vaccinations". My wife has had issues with fast heartbeats after getting them, she never had any thing like it before.

Here is someone elses pic showing where the Ohio & Erie Canal went thru Newcomerstown Ohio. I drove thru the town, to see a picture of woody hays someone painted on the side of a building, but I never found it, and didn't go back to try a 2nd look. I also didn't see these buildings because I was on State St. and they are on Canal St, of all places....

Good Afternoon Lou,
It's even more interesting when you think that the early canals were actually dug by hand, the locks were hand laid up stone and animals towed the barges.
Lou, yes indeed ! One of my favorite things to look at when we are going west towards Lake George or Glens Falls are the modern locks, which I’m sure you have gone over route 149 etc ! I’m always fascinated by them !

Good Afternoon,
Too nice of a day not to bring out some
Old Iron on the front lawn of the Ct house !
Whenever I think I might want to sell it, I clean of the dust and park it out on the front lawn , then I change my mind ! 😉😀

70°F and 0 rain.

Got another area mowed. Unfortunately I lost the pin on the 4wd shaft. Almost got stuck in the pig rootings.

Friday follies in town this morning, including a stop at Kubota to replace that pin. Don’t think I can reinstall without removing the mower deck.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
