Good Morning,
Vt, 46 to start going to 70 ! Uncanny warm weather for later October! Grass seems to finally stopped growing!

Kathleen came down with some type of sickness yesterday and today she is pretty sure she has Covid ! Our youngest son stopped by to visit with Riley our grand pup the night before we left for Vt and he didn’t know it at the time but he had Covid, so now she is sick ! Hope I don’t get it !

Hope to get some shop time in today ! Would like to make some progress on the arms for the rockers.

This afternoon I may bring my mower over to the barn and lift it up with the tractor to remove and sharpen the blades !

Lou, last year I had my F150 undercoated last fall with Woolwax, they sprayed everything including inside body panels etc ! Supposed to protect from rust and corrosion, so we will see !

Hope all have a good start to their week ! 🙏
I had my 15 RAM done with Waxoly when it was new and it looked great underneath when I traded it, I failed to get my 19 done when I got it and it is showing a bit of under carriage rust. We did my wifes 18 Compass when it was new and it still looks great under it.

Don, often on tractors when the brakes act up, if they have mechanical linkages, the linkages need to be lubricated.
There wa a hydraulic leak on that axel for a while and they just added hydraulic fluid and were going to wait till the Fall Festival was over to repair it. I don't think it is a brake thing, when they drug it off the road with a skid steer that left wheel did not turn even a little bit. Glad it's not my problem or expense, I just get to play on the tractors. Repairing them would get into the "work" category and I'm retired, (except for at home).

BEF, I'm not a fan of that Pal's building design with no windows....what a strange idea. Would not want to work there. What are they hiding?
Some good food. 😂
You order at window on right side, with a person taking your order then drive around and pick up at other side. There is no inside dining.

What are you all doing for music?

Have a new receiver to the right out of the picture, old receiver above the albums. Dual cassette deck, 5 disc CD changer, turntable. Have racks of CDs behind a chair.

I usually call up a song on YouTube. 😂

Maybe that is source of my L5030 hydro leak. The left brake went out on it, maybe hydro leak caused the brake issue???
Unfortunately I need to fix.

40 outside...heading to upper 70's.

Estate sale went even better yesterday. Looks like offers on the house lined up too. Unfortunate have to head back down today....and maybe stay the week. Our place is taking overflows on stuff that should bring a lot of money for the in laws rather than cut throat yard sale prices. I had one person who was hagling me about 5 dollars on an American Flyer double sled. Hey...was tired and just done at that point and would not give in. Was offered for half the internet rates. Our pricing was extremely below market with 5 to 10 dollars built in for haggling and of course...people like to bargin. LOL.

People like axes. People like organized cabinets with screws in them. We still have 7 floor jacks...no sales or offers and about 30 power tools...cord variety left. Looks like one more weekend and we could be clear....hoping. Cars drew interest...no serious offer. Will advertize on social media. One guy called his friends over....but I think they realized it will take a lot of money getting them road ready, again. I found pics of the Ford in pristine condition with lots of people in other pics working on it. Sad. I gave them to my wife.

Have a good day and work week all. Be safe.

48 this morning high of 76 no rain showing anytime soon below normal again. My equipment has changed thru the years based on what I can hear. Most music I get now comes from Apple. Have hundreds of records CDs never listen to them. Adcom amp downstairs' has not been turned on in years same for turntable.

Prayers for all our Country Appalachia Florida flooding out west.

Morning all, 42 going to 82 and sunny, dry.
Spent the morning yesterday splitting firewood.

Then took down a split dogwood tree, a lot of mice ran out of the hollow base.

So a load of cherry and ash onto the rack, one is full, other is over half. Firepit has a stack for two fires ready and collected sticks for kindling.
Somewhere during that went and did some watering.

Later went to Lambertville to walk dog and see the Halloween decorations on Union street.
Lots of victorians all dressed up. The whole block closes down for halloween night and it is a huge calm party. Yesterday both towns were packed, since the bridge is still under repair, long drive around on way there.

Kyle - hope son heals up soon, Dr see him yet?

Paul/Popgadget - Son and wife use spotify. I like CD and youtube. Son has turntable.
For movies, if we really like one, we buy DVD or Bluray so we never have to pay for it in the future.
We store those in various places, but mostly in TV stand with closing doors in living room.
Was using Vortex(linux) box to stream music from anywhere in house, but it's not really supported anymore.

M7040 - loved Kyoto, we went off the beaten path a bit and talked to some locals. Surprised to learn the Huge Bamboo there almost all goes away in winter and regrows in Spring. Fushiri Unami shrine is the one with lots of Tori gates, we learned when one gets to worn, a sponsor has another one built to replace it. Want to see the places she goes that we never went in case I ever get back to Japan.

Be well,
