Good Morning,
Vt, 20 to start going to 28 ! The skies are more clear today but we did get a light coverage of snow last night !

The wood stove is humming along nicely ! We have to head south today and can’t stay to late because we need to stop in to some friends for a visit ! It’s my good friend Steve from the FD and he says that he has a bottle of bourbon for me as a belated birthday present ! 😀

Started folding Kathleen’s cards this morning ! This years theme are life guard stations that she photographed from Anna Maria Island, Florida earlier this year !

Paul, good to see Samuel up on the new prosthetic! 🙏

Hope all have a blessed Sunday ! 🙏

Morning all,
It was a brisk 18F when I got out of bed this morning already up to a balmy 23F supposed to get up to 31F today. Not much going on today, we are going up to have a lunch with one of my wifes sons, that's often interesting (alternative life style).
It will be the first cold use of her new electric car we will see how that goes and how much more battery it uses.
Having to open up the air on the coal stove to bring up the heat in the house 69F now and my wife likes 72-73 much better.

Take care and stay safe.

Good Morning
26° to start high of 36 predicted.

Yesterday was pretty much consumed by the Palm Beach trip. I noticed a golf cart carrying a load of guitars that belonged to Bobby Weir from Grateful Dead, they were identified by gaff tape with his name. I looked around and didn’t see him, but I was more focused on getting fueled and my way home.

The wind at 41,000 feet was over 140 kts, and fortunately not on the nose. You can see the crab angle required to stay on course, and the wind vector arrow in yellow.

About the only chore that I got done was to bring up the trash and recycling totes. Had another dinner of turkey leftovers, not tired of turkey yet, which is a good thing because we are going to daughters tonight for a turkey dinner.

Not much else planned, I’d like to wash out the trash toter in an effort to make it not as aromatic. Also need to continue to go through stuff in the house and decide what comes to the old folks home. Going through closets now.

Morning all, 32 going to 40 and partly cloudy.
Seems wintery out.

Bil wife and dog came by yesterday, dogs had fun playing. Made Turkey, fixins and a side of garlic roasted broccoli which came out quite good.

PJS - new leg design looks pretty wild, so great they can make these and get him back on his feet.

Maybe get some decorating done , not much energy left after the weekend.

PopGadget/Paul - always fun flying sideways. Glad the trip went well.

Be well,

Morning all, temps have been in the 20's at night, 45-50 daytime. We got a quick 1 1/2" of snow last Wednesday night, but all gone by Friday.

Maybe a little better here at the homestead..... I was able to bring Dona home yesterday, albeit probably for only a short time.

Her back is really messed up, definitely requires surgery. It's affecting her walking ability and any movement other than sitting. Unfortunately, now on a "back burner".....

Her bloodwork was so out of wack, that became the primary concern. She was teetering on the edge of major collapse. Almost a liter of fluid was aspirated from her lung.

Then came the really bad news.... the abnormal labs are being caused by cancer. They did three biopsies, still waiting on results of "what type" of cancer. We talk to the oncology team on Monday.

Needless to say, we are trying to wrap our heads around this. Need to plan for the road ahead if that's even possible......

Thanks for letting me vent.

66°F and no rain

No big plans for the day. Energy conservation and watch some football.

My turkey soup is excellent. The other leftovers vac sealed and in the freezer. Just ham, turkey, and stuffing. All the veggies went into my soup.

Need to start hoping for some dryness to get mowing again, been almost 3 weeks.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
