Yesterday we spent the entire day working on the Barn. This is the first day since we stopped last winter after the first heavy snow and then my kneed replacement operation.
Felt good getting back onto the job and looking forward to getting it finished up this spring.

Paul the carpenter came over early and we started by adding the vent cap on the roof! DONE

Then it was setting up to put on the board and bat. We did the side toward the house first so wife could see from the kitchen how nice it was going to look. Need to add a few flower boxes for her.
We worked on the front area and will be adding a door on the second floor next weekend.

Yes, a very Happy Easter to is all! Low 50s here, high today only about 58 - whew, still misting rain. Oh well, some day, some day Old Sol will again come out.

Soon to church, my local church has two services every Sunday, 8:45 (man, I canno' do that anymore!), and one for my body - 11 am! Works good for my fibromyalgia plagued body.

Nice job! Couple of questions - Are you going to paint or stain the exterior? And that roof looks pretty good, are they heavy duty shingles? Looks like a tighter job than what I usually see on shingle roofs.
