54 is our high today also. 46 now. I need to look into a couple of things here at home, then help my wife. I was surprised to see my chickens out in the pasture at 7 am. I guess the girls really are early birds!

62º here this morning, one coffee so far, cooked me breakfast all by myself!! That's about the only thing I can cook, I make some good eggs. Looks like a beautiful day, except for my doctor appointment.

Good morning all. 55F and sunny going to 77F and sunny, rain last night has moved on. Tried to take some pics of redbuds and dogwoods on the bike ride but camera in phone just doesn't cut it .

So far I am having VERY Happy Birthday.

Last night with some friends I sang karaoke (2 Chesney tunes, and 1 Blake Shelton), I had an amazing dinner, and was treated to a free night in the most beautiful room I've ever stayed in at the Inn at Kelly's Ford (I compliment the chef and the owners, truly a beautiful place).

Today I'm picking my daughters up early and we will go bowling at Splitsville & eat Fro Yo at SweetFrog.
Tomorrow I'm having some other very close friends over for a BBQ (I'm smoking spare ribs and a whole Pork Loin)

I don't feel old yet.
I think I'm going to keep going for a while before I Join the Old Farts Club...

David....sad news is that you automatically join the Old Farts Club when you hit the big Five-Oh...as fifty is the new sixty. :laughing:

Raining here and 42 degrees, grey skies and all that crap...going to work out in the garage much of today and later on. Sad thing is once you join the OFC the high points of your life are lunch, dinner, and bedtime....I hate to break that to you but it's better you learn now to avoid being disappointed later....:laughing: Ooops, that was rude of me, because I should also have said being able to have regular bathroom habits can also be a high point....deal with it....:laughing:
