71 with 91 on tap. All the thunderstorms missed us yesterday. So, now thinking we need a small shower.

Sodamo - beautiful place. Sounds neat to hear someone actually planting coconut trees.

Drew - good luck with the colored dot system - sounds like a good idea. I don't envy what you have ahead of you, but it will be worth it. Got a tentative move date, yet?

Morning all, 61F heading to 77F. Drew, don't you just love packing up all the crap you have collected over the years. Doing the same thing for our move, 24 years of collecting, or just not throwing away stuff. Found that we are keeping about 1/3, throwing out 1/3 and donating the last 1/3, it seems like we will never get through it all before we move. Decluttering and also finishing up the baseboard is becoming stressful.

About 70° here this morning, really nice morning. Going to about 93° or so... Wait, weather, heat index on radio... High 97°, heat index, 106° - wow. Next week, worse they say. Oh well, I like summer a heap better than winter! I sweat like a race horse, but we have good well water to drink and for a good shower after I work outside.

We had good, soaking rains yesterday afternoon and evening. More light rain today with temps in the 60's.

Bakerg I hope your baseboard project is nearing the end. Fussing with interior details has never been my favorite thing to do.

Nice mowing team there Sodamo.

Drew, be ruthless on the clutter, that's my advice. :laughing: Have you ever heard the saying, "Three house moves are as a good as a fire?"

it's a feeling like you have to renovate the whole place before you can get out of there...but yeah, my late wife loved boxes and the cellar is simply full. full.
so, can't show the house like that and I'm getting help from friends to box/bin it all up and get it out of the basement. Those stairs get higher and higher as the day progresses...

go slow, it will get done.

Good morning all. 70F this morning going to 90F 50% chance of popups this afternoon. Snuck a quick 1 hour bike ride in yesterday prior to mowing . Trim lawn , boat clean, check electrical drain on boat on agenda today.

Gary I understand your stress. Wife started downsizing two years ago, still going on. Several of the house projects last year were done with moving in mind. We had intended to engage a real-estate agent March 1, still have not (may yet happen this week).

66F and .32 inches rain last 24 hours. Probably get a morning shower during breakfast

A couple of hours mowing left. Place is looking pretty good

Hey Drew.
You got it. That ZTR just hates slopes, doesn't like wet, and absolutely detests wet slopes. One of my early rides took me places i'd never mowed before - exciting. I don't think I'd ever get another one, but wife is really good on it.

Those maidens have been missing since my arrival at least, must just be on of those legend things.
