Some showers coming through and cooler weather in store, very nice.
spent the morning meeting with the buyer, which went well, then packed for the rest of the day.
Well more like cleaned out two desks, unhooked stereos, disconnected pc's, with this one left.
Tomorrow this one goes and I go on laptop for a week. Or maybe a bit longer than that.
what an incredibly long day. At least once the buyer got out I could relax and just work.

am looking at the clock and it says 6pm and I'm thinking you just can't go to sleep now...

rsw, yep, I think the bird is indigo bunting. Wish I could say I took the pic, but I didn't. One of my hobbies is bird feeding in front of my large window overlooking our woods. So far, I've identified 47 species. That includes buzzards, crows, etc., anything that's a bird got on me list. I don't think I have an indigo bunting, but the other day I saw a rare summer tanager. They look like a red bird, but kind of rare here, and no top notch, no black around beak.

Whew, still ho' here, mighty ho'.

I was mowing 3.5 hours a week last summer. I cut way back this year to about 1.5 hours at the most. The rest gets bush hogged once or twice.

By the time I got the chimney brushed out and stove vacuumed and cleaned up, wiped up the floor around the stove, then cleaned the shop vac, my body said no more today. So I listened to it. :laughing: The twisted ankle is recovering fine but I had general aches and a low battery status after a long week.

Warm weather is coming next week, mid to upper 80's and it is dry enough now to raise the fire danger level I think.

It got so ho' here the other day, some local cows in a corn field froze to death. Corn started popping, cows thought it was a snow storm and got so cold they kicked off.

60 degrees going up to 82 today, another day of dismantling the house.

stopped taking my cholesterol medicine two days ago. Last night was the first night I did not wake up with cramps. hmmmmm

headed for my second cup of coffee and try to figure out what to eat from my intentionally waning food supply.
Let's see, dill pickles, champagne and yogurt. Yogurt it is...and maybe a bowl of cereal to use up the milk.

67 this raining pretty good and no power. Roof is leaking again. Went to a friends house last night for dinner and got to bed at 1:30PM. Dang it's to early to be up. Reported power outage now just wait

Got first cup of coffee poured. 64° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 79° with a mix of sun and clouds. Got to cut the lawn this afternoon. Sure is nice weather for late August.
