Good morning!!!!

We cracked the 30's this morning, 38F at 6am. Jack Frost is not far away.

I looked for northern lights around 10pm just as the moon was rising. Nada. Our northern horizon is blocked by the hills, so maybe they were visible if I had driven somewhere. I saw pics of them posted from Burlington, VT, Mt Washington, NH and Caribou, ME taken around 10 pm.

Spiders & crawlspaces. Hopefully you will find some shutoff valves somewhere. If not, well that's an item for the to-do list.

59 this am. Going to mid 70s. No rain till next week may be I can get the dirt work started on our new storage building 16x24 plus 16x12 porch.
Drew did I hear you right you have a 3 foot crawl space. Man that's nice enough room to sit and work. Growing up we had one side that was over 4 feet work was difficult because you were just squatted under there talk about a workout burn. Look at the bright side you don't have to carry a shovel to dig your way around.
Also sounds like you have 3/4 PVC. Grab a few shutoff valves and a crescent wrench. Turn water off at street and add the valves. Also use "blue glue" it will set up even if water is present. It's also called rain or shine. Not good under pressure but if you can't drain the lines completely it works.
Good luck.

Good morning all 54F and overcast. yesterday's forecast for clearing was a no show. forecast high is 61F and continued cloudy. Supposed to play in a charity golf event tomorrow and I need to mow and the weather doesn't act like it is going to dry soon. Kyle love to send you some of my excess moisture :)
I would love to have it. We got about an inch yesterday. The best kind of rain. Intermittent showers. Not much if any runoff.
Needed it back in July.

Good morning!!! 63˚ cloudy . . ?? hold on, that's not right. Wow, double checked it is! Coolest morning since May.
After being in the 100˚s this week it's almost jacket weather. We only got 1/10" rain but others nearby (see above) got up to 1" with the Norther pushing through. Time to get outside all day and start those Fall projects.

But first my wife wants a large "Texas size" wooded bowl from a tree trunk, hmmm. . . .

They were saying we could have frost last night but I think we might have lucked out.

Here in Deep South, still ho'. Yesterday was 94°, whew, brought the sweat out while I was rearranging my lumber pile - again. Reckon we'll get cooler weather soon enough, then, I'll be crying for some warmth. Me old bones don't do good in winter.

Last night went to bed it was 90 ish, this morning 63 and breezy. Official cool weather here. Now trying to remember all those chores I've been waiting for cooler weather to do. Should've made a list. :)

Drew, you can buy cheap Tyvek clean room coveralls. I use them for my spider crawlspace endeavors. I recommend keeping a couple of them handy. They cost less than $10. Can't you call the previous owners and ask about a cutoff valve?

Kyle, just heard on the news that Giddings had a 5" rain yesterday, looks like you got shortchanged also.
